We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Intern to join our Corporate Law team in Freiburg. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the legal department of a leading global automotive company. You will support our legal counsels in various corporate law matters, including M&A, intellectual property, contract law, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for law students looking to apply their academic knowledge in a dynamic corporate environment and develop practical legal skills.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Conduct legal research on corporate law, M&A, intellectual property, and compliance topics.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, contracts, and internal policies.
- Support legal counsels in preparing for negotiations, litigations, and regulatory filings.
- Help maintain and update legal databases and corporate records.
- Analyze legal risks and contribute to the development of compliance strategies.
- Collaborate with various internal departments on cross-functional legal matters.
- Stay informed about relevant legal developments and regulatory changes impacting the automotive industry.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) program.
- Strong academic record in corporate law, commercial law, or a related field.
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Prior internship experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
