We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Speaking Solid Waste Management Consultant to join our dynamic team in Graz. This hybrid role requires a professional with a strong understanding of waste management principles, regulations, and technologies, capable of delivering expert advice and solutions to our clients. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing sustainable waste management strategies, conducting feasibility studies, and optimizing operational processes.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Conduct comprehensive waste management audits and assessments for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients.
• Develop and implement tailored solid waste management strategies and action plans.
• Provide expert advice on waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and recovery initiatives.
• Analyze waste data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings and recommendations to clients.
• Stay abreast of national and international waste management regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Lead or support project teams, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, often in English.
• Contribute to business development activities by identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum 3 years of experience in solid waste management or environmental consulting.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential for client interaction and report writing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of waste management principles, technologies (e.g., composting, anaerobic digestion, incineration, landfilling), and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Waste Management, or a related field.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of Austrian and EU waste management legislation.
• Fluency in German is a strong asset.
• Professional certifications in waste management or environmental consulting.
