Are you a passionate and experienced outdoor enthusiast looking to turn your love for adventure into a career? Alpine Explorers Zell am See is seeking a dedicated Outdoor Adventure Guide to lead guests through the stunning landscapes of the Austrian Alps. This role involves leading various outdoor activities, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants, and providing engaging interpretive information about the local environment and culture. You will be a key player in delivering world-class adventure experiences.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead guided tours for various outdoor activities, including hiking, mountaineering, cycling, and water sports (seasonal).
• Conduct thorough safety briefings and risk assessments before and during all activities.
• Ensure all participants adhere to safety protocols and demonstrate responsible behavior.
• Maintain and inspect all equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
• Provide expert instruction and guidance on outdoor techniques and practices.
• Share knowledge about local flora, fauna, geology, and cultural history.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, administering first aid as necessary.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all guests, regardless of skill level.
• Assist with trip planning, logistics, and post-trip debriefing.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our adventure programs and safety standards.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience in leading outdoor adventure activities (hiking, climbing, kayaking/SUP, mountain biking).
• Valid advanced First Aid and CPR certification (e.g., Wilderness First Responder or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups.
• Strong navigation and outdoor survival skills.
• Ability to assess and manage risks effectively in dynamic outdoor environments.
• Fluent in English and German.
• High level of physical fitness and endurance.
• Problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Relevant certifications from recognized outdoor associations (e.g., UIMLA International Mountain Leader, Alpine Guide, Rope Access Technician).
• Experience with winter sports guiding (ski touring, snowshoeing).
• Knowledge of multiple languages beyond English and German.
• Degree or diploma in outdoor recreation, tourism, or a related field.
• Experience working with international clients.
