Are you a passionate aspiring 3D Artist with a love for gaming? Goodgame Studios is looking for a talented and enthusiastic 3D Art/Gaming Intern to join our dynamic team in Hamburg. This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of game development. You will work alongside experienced artists, contributing to the visual creation of captivating game worlds, characters, and assets. We are an international company, and English is our primary working language, so there is no German language requirement for this role!

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist senior 3D artists in the creation of high-quality 3D assets, including props, environments, and character elements.
• Support the art team across various stages of the game development pipeline, from initial concept to in-game implementation.
• Utilize game engines (e.g., Unity or Unreal) to integrate and optimize 3D assets for performance and visual fidelity.
• Actively participate in art reviews, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance visual assets.
• Ensure consistency with the established art style and technical requirements of the project.
• Conduct research and gather reference materials to inspire and inform 3D asset creation.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• A strong portfolio showcasing your 3D art skills, demonstrating an understanding of form, color, and composition.
• Proficiency in at least one industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
• Basic understanding of game art pipelines, including modeling, UV mapping, and texturing.
• Passion for video games and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented, international environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Experience with sculpting software (e.g., ZBrush) and/or texturing software (e.g., Substance Painter).
• Knowledge of animation principles or rigging is a plus.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Game Art, 3D Animation, Digital Media, or a related field.
