Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hybrid NVH Engineer to join our innovative team in Linz, Austria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the analysis, simulation, and testing of noise, vibration, and harshness characteristics of cutting-edge hybrid vehicle powertrains. You will work on exciting projects involving the development and optimization of next-generation propulsion systems, ensuring optimal acoustic comfort and vehicle refinement for our global customers. This position requires a strong background in NVH engineering, a deep understanding of hybrid vehicle architectures, and excellent communication skills in English.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Perform NVH analysis, simulation (FEA, MBS), and testing for hybrid powertrain components and full vehicle systems.
• Develop and implement NVH solutions to meet stringent targets for noise, vibration, and harshness.
• Plan, execute, and analyze NVH measurements on test benches and in vehicles.
• Identify root causes of NVH issues and propose effective countermeasures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, development, and testing teams.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of NVH methodologies and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in NVH and hybrid vehicle development.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in NVH engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Proven experience with NVH simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, Adams, VA One).
• Proficiency in NVH measurement techniques and instrumentation (e.g., LMS Test.Lab, Head Acoustics Artemis).
• Strong understanding of hybrid powertrain architectures and their NVH implications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience with electric motor NVH and battery noise analysis.
• Knowledge of acoustic materials and treatments.
• Familiarity with functional safety aspects (ISO 26262).
• Proficiency in German is a plus, but not required.
