We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hybrid Tissue Engineering Lead to join our innovative Life Science team in Offenbach am Main. This pivotal role will involve leading projects focused on the design, development, and validation of advanced tissue models and bioengineered constructs. The successful candidate will drive research initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and contribute significantly to our efforts in regenerative medicine and drug discovery. Proficiency in English is essential for this role, as you will collaborate with international teams and present findings globally.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Lead and manage complex tissue engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scientific standards.
- Design and optimize protocols for cell culture, scaffold fabrication, and biomaterial integration to create functional tissue constructs.
- Mentor and guide a team of junior scientists and research associates, fostering a culture of innovation and scientific excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless product development and translation.
- Conduct thorough data analysis, interpret results, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature, emerging technologies, and regulatory landscapes in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and intellectual property development within the tissue engineering domain.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tissue engineering, biomaterials, or regenerative medicine.
- Proven leadership experience in project management within a scientific R&D setting.
- Expertise in mammalian cell culture techniques, including 2D and 3D systems.
- Strong understanding of biomaterial properties and scaffold design principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, balancing on-site lab work with remote tasks.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Experience with bioreactor systems and perfusion culture.
- Knowledge of preclinical testing and in vivo model development.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for tissue-engineered products (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB) and statistical methods.
