We are seeking a talented and innovative Hybrid Natural Language Processing Engineer to join our cutting-edge AI Research team in Gera. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and deploying advanced NLP models that power our next generation of intelligent systems across various industrial applications. You will work on challenging problems, from fundamental research to practical implementation, collaborating with a diverse team of AI researchers, software engineers, and domain experts. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art NLP models and algorithms for various applications, including text classification, entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and question answering.
• Conduct research into novel NLP techniques, evaluating their applicability and performance on real-world industrial datasets.
• Pre-process and clean large volumes of textual data, ensuring data quality and suitability for model training.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate NLP models into production systems and platforms.
• Optimize NLP models for performance, scalability, and efficiency in a hybrid cloud environment.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP, machine learning, and AI research, incorporating new ideas and technologies into our projects.
• Document research findings, code, and methodologies for internal knowledge sharing and potential external publications.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Strong proficiency in Python and relevant NLP libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, NLTK).
• Solid understanding of deep learning architectures for NLP (e.g., Transformers, LSTMs, CNNs).
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and fine-tuning techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for model deployment and scaling.
• Proven ability to conduct research, prototype new ideas, and translate them into robust solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
