Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled English Speaking Flight Dynamics Engineer to join our innovative team in a hybrid capacity, based in St. Moritz, Graubünden. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the design, analysis, and testing of advanced aircraft systems. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing flight control laws, performing aircraft performance analysis, and supporting flight test campaigns. You will work within a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance for our next-generation aircraft. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of aerospace principles, and excellent communication skills in English.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop, analyze, and optimize aircraft flight control systems and algorithms.
• Perform aerodynamic and flight performance analysis for various flight conditions.
• Support flight test planning, execution, and data analysis.
• Contribute to the development of aircraft simulation models and tools.
• Collaborate with design, avionics, and software engineering teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Conduct stability and control analyses.
• Identify and resolve flight dynamics-related issues.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in flight dynamics.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong understanding of flight dynamics, aerodynamics, and control theory
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent simulation tools
• Knowledge of aircraft performance analysis and flight testing methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with full flight envelope analysis and certification processes
• Familiarity with industry-standard aerospace simulation software (e.g., NASTRAN, ANSYS)
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or C++
• Prior experience in the aviation or aerospace industry
• Experience with real-time simulation and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
