Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Hybrid Refinery Operations Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role requires a blend of on-site presence at our facilities and remote work, offering flexibility while ensuring critical operational oversight and project delivery. The consultant will be responsible for optimizing refinery processes, implementing best practices, and advising on strategic improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and profitability. You will work closely with operational teams, engineers, and management to identify challenges, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within our refinery operations.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Analyze current refinery operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement optimization strategies for various refinery units, focusing on efficiency, yield, and cost reduction.
- Provide expert advice and technical support to refinery operations teams on complex issues and troubleshooting.
- Lead or participate in projects related to process enhancements, new technology integration, and operational safety improvements.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of operational procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project progress, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for operational staff on new processes, technologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, and supply chain to achieve operational goals.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in refinery operations, process engineering, or a related consulting role.
- Strong understanding of refinery processes, including crude distillation, catalytic cracking, hydrotreating, and associated units.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory as per the job title.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives in refinery settings.
- Knowledge of advanced process control (APC) systems and their application in refining.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or lean/six sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with European environmental regulations and safety standards in the energy sector.
