Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Chemical Plant Drum Mover to join our team in Oerlikon, Zurich. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, and unloading of drums containing various chemical products within our plant and warehouse facilities. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding of instructions and safety procedures.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Safely move, load, and unload chemical drums using appropriate equipment (e.g., drum dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
• Organize and store chemical drums in designated areas within the plant and warehouse.
• Perform pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or damage.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HAZMAT, chemical handling).
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including drum storage areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and ensure accurate record-keeping of drum movements.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.
• Identify and report any potential hazards or unsafe conditions.
