Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software QA Tester to join our remote team. This is a 100% remote position. As a Software QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Fluency in English is essential for clear communication within our international team.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing software features.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and deliver high-quality products.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Provide timely and accurate feedback on product quality and potential risks.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Ensure all testing activities are aligned with project timelines and quality standards.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
• Familiarity with various testing types (functional, regression, smoke, etc.).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, or cloud-based services.
