Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a talented and experienced Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cologne, Germany. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust and scalable hybrid cloud solutions for our enterprise clients. You will work with a variety of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as on-premise virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack). This position requires a strong technical background, a passion for automation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment. Fluency in German is NOT a requirement for this role, as our working language is English.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources and services.
• Ensure the security, availability, and performance of hybrid cloud environments.
• Provide expert guidance and support to clients on cloud architecture best practices and migrations.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across various cloud and on-premise platforms.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident management as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and project managers.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) at an associate/professional level.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, firewalls).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
