Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to oversee all scaffolding operations on our construction sites in Pfäffikon, Schwyz. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures, adhering strictly to safety regulations and project timelines. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of scaffolding teams, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective control measures for all scaffolding operations.
• Ensure all scaffolding works comply with relevant safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Inspect scaffolding structures regularly to ensure structural integrity and safety, identifying and rectifying any defects promptly.
• Train and mentor junior scaffolders, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Manage scaffolding materials and equipment, ensuring availability, proper storage, and maintenance.
• Liaise with site management, engineers, and other trades to plan and execute scaffolding requirements effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of scaffolding inspections, modifications, and team attendance.
• Respond to and resolve any scaffolding-related issues or emergencies on site.
• Champion a strong safety culture within the scaffolding team and across the construction site.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of scaffolding systems (e.g., tube and coupler, system scaffolding) and their erection/dismantling procedures.
• Comprehensive understanding of Swiss scaffolding safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to safety.
• Certification in scaffolding supervision/erection (e.g., SUVA recognized certifications).
• Fluency in German (oral and written).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Vocational training or diploma in construction or a related field.
• Additional certifications in fall protection, confined space entry, or first aid.
• Experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency in English or French is a plus.
