Dehner Gartencenter is seeking a dedicated Tree Nursery Worker to join our plant maintenance team in Bergisch Gladbach. In this hands-on role, you will be crucial in ensuring the health and vitality of our diverse collection of trees and shrubs. You will perform daily tasks related to watering, pruning, pest control, and general upkeep, contributing to the beautiful and thriving environment our customers expect. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Watering trees and shrubs according to specific plant needs and weather conditions.
• Pruning, shaping, and trimming plants to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Monitoring plants for signs of pests, diseases, or nutritional deficiencies and applying appropriate treatments.
• Potting, repotting, and transplanting various tree and shrub species.
• Weeding and maintaining cleanliness within the nursery area.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of plant materials.
• Ensuring proper organization and labeling of nursery stock.
• Operating basic nursery equipment safely (e.g., watering hoses, hand tools).
• Adhering to all safety guidelines and environmental standards.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to plant care.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of plant care principles (or a strong desire to learn).
• Reliable and punctual.

• Previous experience in a nursery, landscaping, or agricultural setting.
• Knowledge of common tree and shrub species.
• Experience with pest and disease identification and treatment.
• Valid driver's license (Class B in Germany).
