Are you passionate about music and looking for an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the music industry? Universal Music Austria is seeking a motivated Working Student for our Music Licensing team. This is a unique chance to dive into the world of music rights, copyrights, and commercial usage, supporting our team with critical administrative and project-based tasks. Fluency in German is NOT a requirement for this role; we welcome English-speaking candidates who are eager to learn and contribute to a global team.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist with the processing of music licensing requests and inquiries.
• Support the team in managing licensing agreements and documentation.
• Conduct research on music rights, copyright holders, and usage permissions.
• Maintain and update databases of licensed tracks and artists.
• Prepare reports and presentations related to licensing activities.
• Communicate with internal departments and external partners in English.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects aimed at improving licensing processes.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program (e.g., Business, Law, Media, Music Management).
• Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated passion for music and the music industry.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Familiarity with intellectual property rights or copyright basics.
• Previous administrative or office experience.
• Experience with database management systems.
• Knowledge of other European languages is a plus but not required.
