Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Hybrid Carbon Capture Technology Lead to spearhead our efforts in developing next-generation carbon capture solutions. This pivotal role involves leading a multidisciplinary team to design, optimize, and implement cutting-edge hybrid technologies that combine various carbon capture methods for enhanced efficiency and reduced environmental impact. The successful candidate will be a technical expert with a strong track record in R&D, project management, and strategic thinking within the CCUS domain.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead the conceptual design, simulation, and experimental validation of novel hybrid carbon capture technologies.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for technology development, aligning with company goals and market demands.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including academic institutions, industry partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies and intellectual property for potential integration into our CCUS portfolio.
• Prepare and present technical reports, research papers, and patent applications.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in carbon capture technology development, with a focus on hybrid systems.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing R&D projects and teams.
• In-depth knowledge of various carbon capture methods (e.g., absorption, adsorption, membrane separation, cryogenic).
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, Pro/II).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with pilot plant design and operation.
• Familiarity with techno-economic analysis and life cycle assessment of CCUS technologies.
• Published research in peer-reviewed journals related to carbon capture.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Proficiency in German language is a plus.
