Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Student Services Coordinator to enhance our Campus Life initiatives. This role is central to creating an engaging and supportive environment for all students at the University of Graz. The coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of student activities, events, and support programs aimed at improving student well-being, fostering community, and facilitating a vibrant campus culture. The ideal candidate will have a passion for student development, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various university departments and student groups.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

  • Develop, plan, and execute a diverse calendar of campus events, workshops, and social activities.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for student inquiries regarding campus services, events, and resources.
  • Collaborate with student organizations and university departments to promote student engagement and leadership opportunities.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue booking, catering, technical requirements, and volunteer coordination.
  • Oversee the budget for campus life programs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop marketing and communication strategies to promote events and services to the student body.
  • Assess the effectiveness of campus life programs through feedback collection and reporting.
  • Provide guidance and support to students facing various challenges, connecting them with appropriate university resources.
  • Ensure all campus activities comply with university policies and safety regulations.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

  • Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Communications, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in student affairs, event planning, or program coordination within a higher education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse student populations.
  • Proven organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

  • Master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with student information systems and event management software.
  • Familiarity with the University of Graz campus and student culture.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
