We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Pea Field Laborers for the upcoming summer harvest season. This temporary position is crucial to ensuring a successful and efficient harvest of our premium peas. You will work as part of a dedicated team, primarily in the fields, performing manual tasks related to the picking and initial processing of peas. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for seasonal work, enjoy being outdoors, and are eager to contribute to the food production cycle. While based in Neukölln, some field work may require transportation to nearby agricultural areas.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Manually pick and gather fresh peas from the fields, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Assist with the sorting and preliminary cleaning of harvested peas.
• Operate basic farm equipment under supervision, if required.
• Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
• Work effectively and efficiently as part of a team to meet daily harvest targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Report any issues with crops or equipment to supervisors promptly.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting (up to 20kg), and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (sun, heat, light rain).
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Attention to detail for quality control of harvested peas.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in agricultural labor or similar outdoor manual work is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Valid German driver's license (Class B) is advantageous for potential transportation needs.
