We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Mannheim. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce high-precision parts according to specifications. This position is ideal for individuals who are proficient in CNC operations and can follow instructions provided in English. You will play a vital role in our production process, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) according to work orders and blueprints.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, making adjustments as necessary.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues, performing routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Document production activities, including completed parts, machine settings, and any issues encountered.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens controls).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code/M-code.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) to follow instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
