We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Shift Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in our Bochum facility. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates, ensuring that all inbound and outbound logistics processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You will play a critical role in achieving operational targets, optimizing workflow, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates during assigned shifts.
• Ensure accurate and timely receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant teams to prevent stockouts or overstocks.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching and development to team members.
• Analyze operational data and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper use of warehouse machinery.
• Communicate effectively with other shifts, departments, and management to ensure seamless operations.
• Resolve operational issues and employee concerns promptly and effectively.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for optimization.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other logistics software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate, train, and manage a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in English and German (written and spoken).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CLTD).
