Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team in Geneva. This role is crucial for the safe and efficient handling of materials and products within our distribution center. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, ensuring accurate movement, stacking, and retrieval of goods. A strong commitment to safety protocols and excellent English communication skills are essential for this position.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Safely and efficiently operate various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, order picker) to move, stack, and retrieve products and materials.
• Load and unload trucks and containers in a timely manner.
• Stack and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and space utilization.
• Perform daily pre-operation checks on equipment and complete necessary maintenance logs.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations, procedures, and quality standards.
• Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and reconciliation, to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with supervisors and other team members in English regarding daily tasks and any operational issues.
• Identify and report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., SUVA recognized).
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is mandatory.
• In-depth understanding and adherence to warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 kg.
• Exceptional hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and spatial awareness.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Previous experience working within an international logistics or supply chain company.
• Basic knowledge of German or French is considered an asset.
