Are you a passionate and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in social media and digital marketing? Ogilvy Austria is looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team in Linz. You will support our social media strategists and community managers in developing, executing, and analyzing engaging content across various platforms. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the creation and curation of engaging social media content (text, image, video) for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
• Support the scheduling and publishing of social media posts using content management tools.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and competitor activities, providing regular reports.
• Engage with online communities and respond to comments and messages under supervision.
• Contribute to the development of social media strategies and content calendars.
• Assist with social media analytics, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and generating insights.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and creative ideas.
• Research industry-specific trends and best practices in social media marketing.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter).
• Familiarity with social media trends and online communities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Prior experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) is a plus.
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are an advantage.
• Understanding of digital marketing principles and SEO basics.
• A personal portfolio or examples of social media content you've created.
