Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Basil Field Laborers to join our team in Liesing, Vienna. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are passionate about organic farming. No prior experience is required, and we warmly welcome applicants who speak English. You will be an integral part of our basil cultivation process, from planting to harvest, ensuring the highest quality of our produce.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Prepare soil beds for basil planting, ensuring optimal growing conditions.
- Plant basil seedlings carefully and efficiently according to farm standards.
- Perform weeding and pest control using organic and sustainable methods.
- Monitor basil plants for health and growth, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Harvest basil leaves by hand, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Assist with post-harvest sorting, cleaning, and packing of basil.
- Maintain irrigation systems and ensure plants receive adequate water.
- Operate basic farm equipment safely (training provided if necessary).
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations on the farm.
