Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman / Designer to join our engineering team in Osnabrück. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and designs using CAD software for various projects related to our copper and copper alloy products, machinery, and facilities. This role requires strong proficiency in English, as you will be working as part of an international team and communicating with stakeholders across different regions. You will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to translate concepts and specifications into precise technical documentation, ensuring all designs adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for product components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and design specifications.
• Review and revise existing drawings based on redlines, change requests, and engineering feedback.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality control procedures.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings, revisions, and project files.
• Assist in the selection of materials and components by providing accurate technical data.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
• Communicate effectively in English with international teams and external partners.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
• Strong understanding of mechanical drafting principles and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering schematics.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree or technical certification in Drafting, Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with PDM/PLM systems.
• Familiarity with copper manufacturing processes or heavy industry.
• Basic knowledge of German language is a plus.
