Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grant Writer with native English proficiency to join our global team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to critical conservation efforts from anywhere. You will play a pivotal role in securing funding for our diverse range of environmental projects worldwide, from species protection to climate change initiatives. Your ability to craft compelling and persuasive proposals will be essential in translating our scientific and conservation goals into fundable projects, impacting global biodiversity and sustainability.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Research, identify, and evaluate potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
• Develop, write, and submit high-quality, compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports.
• Collaborate with program managers, scientists, and financial teams to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
• Manage a grants calendar, tracking submission deadlines, reporting requirements, and follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all grant activities in our CRM system.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with grant funders and stakeholders.
• Provide strategic input on fundraising priorities and identify new funding streams.
• Edit and proofread grant applications, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to funder guidelines.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Native English speaker with exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of successfully securing grants from diverse funding sources.
• Strong research skills to identify relevant grant opportunities and gather supporting data.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong understanding of environmental conservation issues and terminology.

• 3+ years of experience in grant writing, preferably within a non-profit or environmental organization.
• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge) and grant management platforms.
• Familiarity with international grant regulations and reporting standards.
• Experience working with diverse global teams.
