Zalando is seeking a proactive and strategic Hybrid E-Commerce Category Manager to drive the growth and success of key product categories for the Austrian market, based in Amstetten. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing product performance to meet sales targets. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to achieve sales targets and market share growth.
• Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform product assortment and pricing decisions.
• Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including negotiation, onboarding, and performance management.
• Curate and optimize product assortments, ensuring a compelling and relevant offering for the target audience.
• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and supply chain teams to drive traffic, conversion, and inventory efficiency.
• Monitor category performance, analyze key metrics, and implement data-driven actions for continuous improvement.
• Oversee product content quality and ensure optimal product presentation on the website.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for your assigned categories.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience (at least 3 years) in e-commerce category management or buying roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and analytical tools.
• Deep understanding of the fashion and lifestyle retail market.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
