As a Hybrid Esports Team Operations Manager at Riot Games in Geneva, you will be crucial in managing the day-to-day operations and logistics for one of our premier esports teams. You will ensure seamless communication, efficient travel, robust support infrastructure, and overall team well-being. This role requires a highly organized individual with a passion for esports, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment. You will be the central point of contact for team members, coaching staff, and other internal stakeholders, working to optimize performance and foster a positive team culture.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Manage all logistical aspects for the esports team, including travel arrangements, accommodation, and event schedules.
• Act as the primary point of contact for team members regarding operational inquiries and support needs.
• Oversee budget management for team operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., marketing, legal, HR) to ensure team compliance and support.
• Facilitate effective communication channels between players, coaches, and Riot Games management.
• Support player well-being and development by coordinating resources such as performance coaches, therapists, or language tutors.
• Ensure all team equipment and facilities are maintained and optimized for peak performance.
• Assist in contract management and onboarding processes for new team members.
• Prepare and present regular reports on team operational status and expenditures.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, project coordination, or a similar role, preferably within esports, sports, or entertainment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) – this is a critical requirement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex logistics and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong budget management and financial tracking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse personalities.
• Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite).
• Deep understanding and passion for competitive esports.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
