Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a talented and motivated Hybrid Hardware Development Engineer to join our innovative team in St. Johann im Pongau. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge hardware components for our next-generation products. This position requires a strong foundation in both analog and digital circuit design, along with a collaborative approach to integrate hardware with software and firmware. You will work within a dynamic environment, contributing to projects that demand precision, creativity, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. English is the primary language for all communications and documentation within the team.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, simulate, and implement analog and digital circuits for various applications.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for hardware validation and characterization.
• Collaborate closely with firmware, software, and system engineering teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of hardware issues.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and test reports.
• Contribute to component selection, PCB layout guidance, and design for manufacturing (DFM).
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in hardware development.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in hardware development.
• Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design principles.
• Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad).
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity analysis.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet).
• Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., automotive, medical).
• Understanding of EMI/EMC principles and testing.
