We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hybrid Naval Architecture Draftsman to join our dynamic shipbuilding team in Lüneburg. This role involves a blend of on-site collaboration and remote work, focusing on producing precise technical drawings and designs for various naval projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and modification of ship structures, outfitting, and systems, working closely with naval architects, engineers, and production teams. You will be instrumental in translating complex design concepts into clear, actionable blueprints, contributing to the construction of state-of-the-art marine vessels.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and models for ship structures, systems, and components using advanced CAD software.
• Collaborate with naval architects and engineers to ensure designs meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and classification society rules.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback, design changes, and production requirements, maintaining version control.
• Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and comprehensive support documentation for procurement and construction teams.
• Assist in the preparation of design packages for client approval and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all design iterations, documentation, and project files.
• Participate actively in design reviews and provide valuable technical input to optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and operational performance.
• Ensure all drafting activities consistently adhere to company standards, industry best practices, and quality control procedures.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, Rhinoceros 3D, SolidWorks, AVEVA Marine).
• Strong understanding of naval architecture principles, marine engineering concepts, and shipbuilding processes.
• Ability to accurately interpret and translate engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all drafting and documentation tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Knowledge of relevant international maritime regulations (e.g., IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL) and classification society rules.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational qualification in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and data management tools.
• Familiarity with German shipbuilding standards, codes, and practices.
• Professional certification in a recognized CAD software platform.
• Proven experience working effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site and remote contributions.
