We are looking for a talented and passionate Hybrid QA Automation Engineer to join our innovative tech team in Berlin. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and test suites for our critical applications. This role requires a blend of strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit to work across various engineering teams. As a Hybrid QA Automation Engineer, you will contribute to both automated and manual testing efforts, ensuring comprehensive coverage and high-quality software releases.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using industry best practices.
• Execute automated and manual tests to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Implement and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to resolution using bug tracking systems.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, actively contributing to team processes.
• Provide clear and concise feedback on software quality to stakeholders.
• Continuously research and implement new testing tools, techniques, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
• Solid experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of mobile application testing (iOS/Android).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
