Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Automation Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team in Graz. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of automation engineering within a leading global technology company. You will work on real-world projects, support the development and optimization of automated test systems, and contribute to innovative solutions for future mobility. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical, industrial setting and develop a strong foundation in automation.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of automation solutions for powertrain and vehicle testing.
• Support the integration of hardware and software components for automated systems.
• Participate in the calibration, validation, and troubleshooting of automation equipment.
• Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications, test procedures, and system architectures.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on project tasks and research initiatives.
• Learn and apply industry best practices in automation and control systems.
• Provide technical support for existing automation systems, addressing minor issues and improvements.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Basic understanding of control systems and automation principles
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB/Simulink
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and sensor technology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT).
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET, CAN).
• Experience with robotics or robotic simulation software.
• Participation in relevant academic projects or extracurricular activities.
• Basic knowledge of German language is a plus.
