We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Native English Speaking Kindergarten Teacher to join our dynamic bilingual school in Zug. The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, possess a strong understanding of child development, and be able to create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for our young learners. This role involves collaborating with a German-speaking co-teacher to deliver a rich, inquiry-based curriculum that promotes language acquisition, social-emotional growth, and cognitive development. You will be instrumental in fostering a love for learning in a diverse international setting.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school's bilingual curriculum.
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
• Collaborate effectively with a German-speaking co-teacher to ensure seamless bilingual instruction and support.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to children and parents.
• Communicate proactively and positively with parents regarding their child's development and school activities.
• Participate actively in school-wide events, professional development, and team meetings.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students under your care.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Native English speaker
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification/license
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in a kindergarten or early years setting
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging and play-based learning experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in a diverse environment

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Education
• Experience in a bilingual or international school setting
• Knowledge of an inquiry-based curriculum (e.g., PYP)
• Proficiency in German is a plus
