We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team in Zurich, Switzerland. This role is ideal for an English-speaking professional eager to relocate to a vibrant European city and contribute to cutting-edge projects in industrial automation. You will be instrumental in the design, development, and testing of complex mechanical systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions. Relocation assistance will be provided for the successful candidate.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for industrial applications.
• Conduct feasibility studies, stress analyses, and simulations to optimize designs.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation of new products and solutions.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for existing products.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and expertise to production and field service teams.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience in mechanical design and engineering principles.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of material science, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools.

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the industrial automation, robotics, or power generation sectors.
• Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
• Knowledge of German or other local Swiss languages.
