Are you looking for a hands-on role in a modern metal workshop? Bystronic Group is seeking a dedicated and motivated Metal Workshop Assistant to join our team in St. Gallen. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment. No prior German language skills are required – we welcome applicants who are proficient in English and ready to contribute to our international team. You will support our skilled technicians in daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist skilled metalworkers and machine operators with various tasks.
• Transport materials and components within the workshop using appropriate equipment.
• Load and unload machines (e.g., laser cutting, press brakes) with raw materials and finished parts.
• Perform basic visual quality checks on finished components.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and machinery.
• Support inventory management by organizing and tracking materials.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times.
• Perform general duties as assigned to ensure workshop efficiency.

• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (within safety guidelines).
