We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Advisor to join our team in Aurich, specializing in serving our diverse international client base. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and tailored mortgage solutions to non-German speaking clients, helping them navigate the complexities of property financing in Germany. You will build strong relationships, understand unique client needs, and ensure a smooth and efficient application process from initial consultation to closing. This position requires a deep understanding of the German mortgage market, excellent communication skills in multiple languages, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Provide comprehensive mortgage advice and solutions to international clients, including expatriates and non-residents.
• Conduct thorough financial assessments to determine client eligibility and recommend suitable mortgage products.
• Explain complex mortgage terms, conditions, and legal requirements clearly and concisely in various languages.
• Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, from documentation gathering to submission.
• Liaise effectively with internal departments (e.g., credit, legal) and external partners (e.g., real estate agents, notaries).
• Stay updated on market trends, product changes, and regulatory requirements pertaining to international mortgage lending in Germany.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and fostering long-term loyalty.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
• Ensure all activities comply with banking regulations and internal policies.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor or similar role in the German financial market.
• In-depth knowledge of German mortgage products, lending criteria, and legal frameworks.
• Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Additional fluency in other languages (e.g., French, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic).
• Certification in mortgage advising or financial planning (e.g., Finanzanlagenfachmann according to §34f GewO).
• Experience working with a diverse international client base.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
