Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oil & Gas Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on international projects. This role involves contributing to the planning, design, execution, and optimization of complex upstream and downstream projects across various global locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. You will play a crucial part in ensuring project success, from concept development through to operational handover, adhering to the highest safety and environmental standards. This is a Hybrid role, combining on-site collaboration with flexible remote work.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead and participate in the engineering design and development of oil and gas projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design.
• Perform technical calculations, simulations, and analyses for reservoir, production, and process engineering challenges.
• Develop and implement robust project plans, schedules, and budgets for international ventures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and international partners to ensure project alignment and delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with international engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and expertise during project execution, commissioning, and start-up phases.
• Travel internationally as required to project sites and partner locations.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in project engineering or operations.
• Proficiency in engineering software for process simulation, reservoir modeling, or production optimization.
• Strong understanding of upstream and/or downstream oil and gas operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for international projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and work effectively in a team-oriented, international environment.

• Master's degree or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience with international project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Familiarity with specific regional regulations and environmental standards (e.g., EU, Middle East, Africa).

• Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the oil and gas sector.
