Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Process Engineer to join our team at the Tulln starch production facility. In this English-only environment, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, implementing process enhancements, and supporting the development and commissioning of new projects. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Analyze and optimize existing production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Lead or support process improvement projects, from conception through to implementation and post-evaluation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, flow diagrams, and operating procedures.
• Conduct process simulations and data analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to achieve operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations (HACCP, ISO).
• Participate in the commissioning and start-up of new equipment and process lines.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing, pharmaceuticals, or chemicals.
• Proficiency in process optimization techniques and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work effectively in an English-only speaking environment.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience in the starch, sugar, or broader food processing industry.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Hysys, AVEVA PRO/II).
• Knowledge of German language is a plus but not required for this English-only role.
