Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Rosemary Farm Helper to join our team at our research and cultivation site. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about horticulture, sustainable farming, and contributing to cutting-edge agricultural research. As an English-speaking friendly environment, we welcome international applicants. You will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our rosemary cultivation, supporting various agricultural projects, and ensuring the health and productivity of our plants. This is a hands-on position requiring physical stamina and a keen eye for detail.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Perform daily watering, weeding, pruning, and harvesting of rosemary plants.
- Monitor plant health, identifying and reporting signs of pests, diseases, or nutritional deficiencies.
- Prepare soil, sow seeds, and transplant seedlings according to cultivation plans.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of farm equipment and tools.
- Contribute to data collection and record-keeping for research purposes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the growing areas and farm facilities.
- Follow all safety protocols and sustainable farming practices.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and researchers.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Basic knowledge of plant care and gardening techniques.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to facilitate team communication and understanding of instructions.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Previous experience in farming, gardening, or horticulture.
- Knowledge of rosemary cultivation or herb farming.
- Familiarity with organic farming principles.
- Basic understanding of German language is a plus, but not required.
- Valid driver's license.
