Are you passionate about travel and possess excellent English communication skills? TUI Deutschland GmbH is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Travel Agent to join our remote team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in helping our English-speaking clientele plan their dream vacations, offering expert advice, and booking a wide array of travel services. This is an exciting opportunity to work from anywhere in Germany, contributing to a global leader in the travel industry.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Assist English-speaking customers in planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and package tours.
- Provide comprehensive information on destinations, travel regulations, visa requirements, and insurance options.
- Offer personalized recommendations and tailored travel solutions to meet individual client needs and preferences.
- Process bookings, reservations, and payments accurately using GDS (Global Distribution System) and internal booking platforms.
- Handle inquiries, resolve travel-related issues, and provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after trips.
- Stay updated on travel industry trends, new destinations, and promotional offers to better serve clients.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written) to a native or near-native standard.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote work environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and online booking tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Previous experience as a travel agent or in a similar customer-facing role within the travel industry.
- Knowledge of GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with various travel destinations and products.
- Additional language skills (especially German) are a plus.
