Are you passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance? We’re looking for a motivated Working Student to join our app testing team in Gießen. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and user-friendliness of our cutting-edge mobile applications. This is an excellent opportunity for students with an eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving to contribute to real-world projects and grow their skills in a dynamic environment. English proficiency is a must, and prior experience is not required – we’ll guide you!

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Execute test cases on various mobile devices (iOS, Android) and web platforms.
• Identify, document, and track software bugs and anomalies using issue tracking systems.
• Provide clear and concise bug reports with steps to reproduce, screenshots, and relevant logs.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and test scenarios.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure previously identified defects have been resolved.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover new issues and provide feedback on user experience.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Participate in team meetings and provide status updates on testing activities.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Basic understanding of mobile applications and web technologies.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with various mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Prior experience with software testing or quality assurance (personal projects, internships, etc.).
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Basic knowledge of German language.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies.
