Are you an experienced Legal Counsel with a strong command of English, looking for a remote opportunity within a global technology leader? SAP is seeking a dynamic and skilled Legal Counsel to join our EMEA legal team. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere within Germany, while contributing to cutting-edge legal strategies for one of the world’s largest software companies. As a Legal Counsel at SAP, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive legal support across various business functions. You will advise on a broad range of legal matters, with a primary focus on commercial contracts, intellectual property, data privacy, and compliance. Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complexities of the technology sector, ensuring legal compliance, and mitigating risks. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including software licensing, cloud services, professional services, and vendor contracts.
• Providing legal advice and guidance on data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and cybersecurity matters.
• Advising on intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations across all business operations.
• Supporting internal stakeholders (sales, procurement, HR, product development) on various legal issues.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to stay abreast of legal developments impacting the technology industry.
• Assisting with dispute resolution and litigation management as required.
• Developing and delivering legal training to internal teams.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Qualified lawyer in Germany or a common law jurisdiction, with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential; German language skills are a significant advantage but not mandatory for this specific English-speaking role.
• Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Solid understanding of data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and intellectual property rights.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
