Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Medical Research team in Cuxhaven. This is an excellent opportunity for a current university student to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic scientific environment. You will support our research projects, contribute to data analysis, and assist in preparing scientific documentation. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of German is a plus but not mandatory. This role is designed for students seeking to deepen their understanding of medical research methodologies and contribute to real-world scientific advancements.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the preparation and execution of medical research experiments and studies.
• Perform data entry, data cleaning, and preliminary data analysis using statistical software.
• Support the research team in literature reviews and scientific documentation.
• Contribute to the organization and maintenance of laboratory records and samples.
• Participate in team meetings and present findings or updates as required.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and ethical guidelines in research activities.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Medicine, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of research methodologies and scientific principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a laboratory setting or research project (e.g., through internships or academic projects).
• Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS).
• Basic knowledge of German.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
