We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Damaged Goods Logger to join our logistics team in Bienne. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately identifying, documenting, and processing damaged or returned goods within our distribution center. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure proper inventory management, minimize losses, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our supply chain. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English. You will be a key player in maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting our commitment to operational excellence.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, discrepancies, or returns.
• Accurately log all identified damaged items into the inventory management system using specific codes and descriptions.
• Photograph and document the condition of damaged goods for claims and record-keeping purposes.
• Segregate and organize damaged products for appropriate disposition, including repair, disposal, or return to suppliers.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, quality control, and customer service teams to investigate the root cause of damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.
• Generate reports on damaged goods trends and provide input for process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to damaged goods handling.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy, including experience with inventory systems or data entry.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 20kg and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving aptitude.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Knowledge of German or French is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
