We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Jeweler / Goldsmith to join our artisan workshop in Salzburg. This role is perfect for a meticulous craftsman with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary jewelry-making techniques. You will be instrumental in creating, repairing, and customizing high-end jewelry pieces, working with precious metals and gemstones to maintain Swarovski’s renowned standards of quality and artistry. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional bench skills, artistic flair, and a commitment to precision.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Execute precise metalworking, including filing, sawing, soldering, and polishing of precious metals.
• Set various types of gemstones with accuracy and artistry, ensuring secure and aesthetically pleasing placements.
• Perform jewelry repairs, restorations, and resizing to the highest standards.
• Interpret design sketches and technical drawings to create finished pieces.
• Maintain and clean workshop tools and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized working environment.
• Manage precious materials responsibly, minimizing waste and ensuring accountability.
• Collaborate with design teams and other artisans to achieve desired aesthetic and functional outcomes.
• Adhere to strict quality control standards throughout the production process.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Jeweler or Goldsmith.
• Proficiency in traditional metalworking techniques (e.g., soldering, filing, polishing, annealing).
• Demonstrable expertise in various gem-setting methods (e.g., pave, bezel, prong, channel).
• Strong understanding of different precious metals and their properties (gold, platinum, silver).
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Acute attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Formal apprenticeship or degree in jewelry design, gemology, or a related field.
