Join Porsche Engineering as a Hybrid ADAS Engineer and contribute to the development of next-generation Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. In this challenging role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and testing innovative ADAS features for future Porsche vehicles. You will work within an agile team, collaborating closely with experts across various disciplines to bring state-of-the-art autonomous driving functionalities to life. This position requires a blend of software development, systems engineering, and a deep understanding of automotive safety standards.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, implement, and validate ADAS functionalities for series production vehicles.
• Develop software components for sensor data processing, fusion, and interpretation (e.g., camera, radar, lidar).
• Perform system-level integration and testing of ADAS features, both in simulation and in real vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and testing engineers.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system behavior, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) throughout the development cycle.
• Document technical specifications, design documents, and test reports.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in ADAS technologies and apply them to ongoing projects.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in C++ or Python for embedded systems development.
• Strong understanding of ADAS sensors (camera, radar, lidar) and their principles.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, LIN).
• Familiarity with software development tools (e.g., Git, Jira, Confluence).
• Experience with validation and verification methods for ADAS/AD functions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
• Experience with functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques for perception and decision making.
• Experience with ADAS simulation environments (e.g., CARLA, IPG CarMaker).
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture.
• German language skills.
