Join our dynamic team at the DHL logistics hub in Baden-Baden as a Loading Dock Chock Placer. This is a critical safety role ensuring the secure loading and unloading of freight. We are looking for dedicated individuals who prioritize safety and efficiency. No prior German language skills are required for this position; proficiency in English is sufficient for communication within our diverse team. This is an on-site position vital to our operational flow.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Safely place and remove wheel chocks for incoming and outgoing trailers at loading docks.
• Verify that chocks are securely in place before loading or unloading operations begin.
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers and warehouse staff using clear signals and basic English.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures.
• Inspect chocks and dock equipment regularly for wear and tear, reporting any issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area around the loading docks.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed to support operations.

• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 20kg).
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
