We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Wheat Harvest Helper for the upcoming season. This temporary, on-site role is crucial to the success of our harvest operations, involving direct participation in the collection and initial processing of wheat crops. Fluency in English is essential to ensure clear communication within our diverse team. This is a physically demanding role performed outdoors, offering a valuable opportunity to contribute directly to Switzerland’s food production.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of harvest machinery under supervision.
• Manually gather and load harvested wheat into storage containers.
• Perform quality checks on harvested crops, removing debris or damaged grain.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines diligently.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and farm management.
• Perform other general farm duties as required during the harvest period.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Physical fitness and stamina for prolonged periods of standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks outdoors.
• Ability to work effectively in varying weather conditions (heat, dust, etc.).
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of farm safety principles.
• Fluency in English for effective communication.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in agricultural work or manual labor is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic farm equipment.
• Knowledge of German is beneficial but not required.
