As the VP of Engineering at Logitech, you will lead a diverse and talented team of engineers, driving the strategic vision and execution of our product development roadmap. This executive role demands a visionary leader with a proven track record of delivering cutting-edge technology products at scale. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement, ensuring that our engineering efforts align seamlessly with business objectives and market demands. You will influence technical architecture, strategic planning, and operational efficiency across multiple product lines, playing a pivotal role in maintaining Logitech’s position as a market leader.

• Define and execute the long-term engineering strategy, aligning with overall company goals and product vision.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering organization, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Oversee the full product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, scalable products.
• Drive technical excellence and architectural best practices across all engineering teams.
• Manage significant engineering budgets and resources effectively, optimizing for efficiency and impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure cohesive product development and market success.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
• Represent the engineering organization externally and internally, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
• Implement and refine agile development methodologies and operational processes to enhance productivity and quality.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering management, with at least 5 years at a VP level or equivalent.
• Demonstrated success in leading large, complex engineering teams and delivering innovative hardware/software products.
• Strong technical background with expertise in relevant product domains (e.g., consumer electronics, IoT, software platforms).
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proven ability to attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
• Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and large-scale engineering projects.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
• Familiarity with the Swiss regulatory and business environment.
