We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled SEO Specialist to join our fully remote team. As an SEO Specialist at Merkle, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing SEO strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires a strong understanding of current SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and a passion for driving organic growth. You will work closely with content, development, and client service teams to ensure SEO objectives are met and exceeded.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and execute successful SEO strategies for various client websites across different industries.
• Perform comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend analysis.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations for site structure, crawlability, and indexability.
• Manage on-page SEO elements including title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and content optimization.
• Implement off-page SEO strategies, including link building and digital PR initiatives.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using a variety of tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding strategy, progress, and results.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role (minimum 3 years).
• In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
