Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Services Engineer with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to join our dynamic team in Porrentruy. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, specification, and oversight of MEP systems for a diverse range of building projects, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead the design and specification of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, electrical power, lighting, and fire protection systems for various building types.
• Perform detailed calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize system performance and energy consumption.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and reports for all MEP installations.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate MEP designs seamlessly.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Participate in client meetings, present design solutions, and address technical queries.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in building services engineering.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in MEP design for building projects.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, IES VE, Dialux).
• Strong understanding of Swiss building codes, standards, and regulations related to MEP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in French and English.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional registration.
• Experience with sustainable building design principles and certifications (e.g., Minergie, LEED).
• Knowledge of German is a plus.
